Our Physician Associate is Elilarasi; Physician associates support doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients. Our Physican Associate has received extensive training and has over 15 Years experience in the healthcare sector both in the UK and Overseas. PAs perform Additional Role through our Primary Care Network
General Practice Assistant
Our General Practice Assistants are Thivagar and Rubina; General Practice Assistants provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined in some areas with basic clinical duties. They can help to free up GPs time and contribute to the smooth running of appointments, improving patients experience in the surgery. All our General Practice Assistants hold a Medical Degree and are working towards GMC Registration to work as Future Doctors. GPAs perform Additional Role through our Primary Care Network.
Practice Nurse
Our Practice Nurse is Caroline; Our Practice Nurse Identifies , manages, and supports patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects on the patient’s health. Provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence, NICE and the NSF.
District Nurse
Our District Nurses are Provided through the PCN: District nursing is coordinated centrally, with monthly meetings at Deptford Medical Centre ensuring that the district nurses, Practice Nurse and GPs are up to date with patient care. Referrals are made via the surgery.
Health Visitor
Our Health Visitors are Provided through the PCN; Health visiting is also coordinated centrally, with monthly meetings at Deptford Medical Centre to ensure that the health visitors, Practice Nurse and GPs are up to date with patient care. Referrals are made via the surgery.
We also teach and train healthcare professionals and work experience students at this practice.
